Weakness vs. independence

For the longest time, I thought that asking for help was a form of weakness. So, I tried to do everything myself.

For the longest time, it worked. Until one day, I found myself in a cul-de-sac — literally.

I then realized and understood that the phrase “being weak” was only a societal concept, a self-inflicting judgment that we use when we need an excuse to stay put.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help. You just have to choose your partners carefully.

Man is a social creature. He can only gain real independence through relationships. Relationships based on mutual trust, respect, and a long-term vision.

So, whether you work online or offline, learn to be picky. And stick to it no matter what. Because, in the long run, the right partners will be there to help you make your dreams come true.
