In a previous article, I talked about two fantastic social profile aggregators: Google Profiles and About.me. Today, I would like to present three more that I discovered recently. You should definitely check them out!
SocialBios is a free service that regroups all the information found on your social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Gmail…) and website/blog links on one convenient page. The account is easy to set up and the page appealing to the eye. Further, you can embed your bio on a website and Facebook Fan Page very easily.
ItsMyURLs is free and lets you organize all of your social media profiles and links in one place to make your visitors’ browsing experience more enjoyable. The page can then be shared on major social networking sites with the click of a mouse.
The service uses QR codes. When smartphone owners (iPhone, blackberry etc.) scan the codes, they have instant access to all your online presence through the links stored in your profile. Just save the codes on your computer and put them anywhere you want.
Within minutes after setting up my account at ItsMyURLs, one of the co-founders of the services sent me the following tweets:
It was truly a great touch!
Flavors.me is an aggregator reminiscent of About.me — my favorite tool so far. The service lets you customize your page and add a background picture. You can also choose fonts / sizes and add services (social networking sites) and links to your website and blog.
Flavors.me also uses QR codes.
The main benefits of social profile aggregators are backlinking (creating incoming links to your website/blog) and ease of access. When you use those services, you make it easier for people to find you online.
Have you tried the three social profile aggregators? If so, what do you think?
