After the 10 commandments of social media in quotes,  here is another list following the same principle. This time, I chose to focus on branding.

Thou shalt be approachable

Thou shalt be unique

Thou shalt be positive

Thou shalt be professional

Thou shalt be committed

“There’s no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” - Wayne W. Dyer

Thou shalt be open-minded

“Without an open-minded mind, you can never be a great success.” - Martha Stewart

Thou shalt be accountable for thy actions

Thou shalt use thy expertise to help thy audience

“People who have expertise just love to share it. That’s human nature.” - David Baldacci

Thou shalt be the leader of thy community

Thou shalt not over self-promote

“If advertising had a little more respect for the public, the public would have a lot more respect for advertising.” – James Randolph Adams

Bonus commandment: Thou shalt be patient
